The Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSBM) degree program with Human Resources Management (HRM) concentration helps students develop an understanding of the fundamentals of human resource management and its strategic relevance in business. The concentration introduces students to the basic concepts of human resource management, and allows further study in the areas of employment law, risk management, recruitment and selection of employees, international HR, change management, compensation and benefits, employee development, and performance management. Students will also develop an understanding of the critical business implications for human resource professionals today and in the future.


Upon completion of the program, the students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate intense knowledge of the Business world, Management tools and labor laws and able to express and use those knowledge in their professional careers. (PLO-1- CS)
  2. Demonstrate the ability to critically assess and analyze issues in Human Resource Management in the light of national/international environment, business practices and national/global concerns leading to informed problem-solving  (PLO -2- AS)
  3. Develop the ability to be use traditional and scientific methods to tackle problems, formulate policies and make decisions in HR field (PLO-3- PS)
  4. Demonstrate ability to use Information Technology tools in Human Resource Management and Labor relations (PLO-4- IT)
  5. Demonstrate the ability to understand professional, ethical and social responsibilities while assessing, analyzing and solving problems and while making decisions.  (PLO-5- ES)
